Which teacher has made the most significant impact on your life and how?
Coach Bran Mills has made the most significant impact on my life. I have had him as my coach/teacher the most in my high school career. Throughout the years, he has taught me a number of things. First, he taught me how to properly move, safely lift weights, and grow stronger. Secondly, he trained my mind and heart to become strong through tough times. Lastly, he showed me that through dedication, determination, and patience, even your biggest and wildest dreams can be accomplished. One of my favorite quotes which he said was, "If you are still focused on what you did yesterday, then you have done nothing today."

What is the best advice you could give to underclassmen?
The best advice I could give to underclassmen is to enjoy every second of the journey. It is cliche, but it is very true when people say that high school flies by. So try to take your high school career day by day. Enjoy the little things that one may take for granted. Embrace the grind and welcome new challenges. You only get one crack at high school, so just make the most of it. Get out of your comfort zone.

What do you want people to know about the school district? #whywalton
WCSD is hands down the best in the state. Our leaders will fight and do almost anything for the students here. I have many friends who live elsewhere, and they are no competition compared to our county. There is nowhere else I would rather be.
