In which extracurricular activities have you participated?
I have played soccer at Walnut Grove High School for five years, starting when I was in eighth grade. I have been a member of the Beta Club and Student Government Association (SGA) since my freshman year. This year, I am serving as vice president of SGA. I have been in the National Honors Society since junior year. I am a member of the Youth Leadership Walton program as well. 

What are your plans after graduation?
I plan on attending Georgia Southern University (Armstrong Campus).

What is your intended major?
Nursing

Which teacher has made the most significant impact on your life and how?
Ms. Amos has made the most significant impact on your life because she has always been the one I would go to when I had any questions about dual enrollment, AP courses, or any college preparation in general. She has helped guide me through my four years here and has always pushed me to do my best and more. I can always count on her when I need a teacher to talk to.

What is the best advice you could give to underclassmen?

Do not take any moment for granted. You may think that the next few years will go by slowly, but they actually fly by. It may seem fun to get involved in drama and stuff like that, but in reality, it's not worth it. Focus on yourself and make a good foundation for yourself grade-wise. It helps a lot in the future.

What do you want people to know about the school district? #whywalton

This school district does a great job of recognizing its prestigious and successful students and rewarding them in as many ways as possible. They give students plenty of opportunities to be involved in and out of the school buildings. They have great staff throughout all of the Walton County buildings.
