Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE)

What is CTAE?

Walton County's Career, Technical and Agriculture Education (CTAE) Program prepares all students for the workforce by establishing academic and specialized technical skills that are foundational to success in all future career paths. CTAE course offerings are curated to prepare students for a variety of options after high school including college, apprenticeships, military, career-track jobs or a combination of these.

By offering a variety of CTAE courses, all students from our future industrial maintenance technicians and linemen to our future firefighters and surgeons can begin their career training journey in high school. WCSD's current high school block scheduling allows most students the opportunity to complete two or possibly three pathways before graduation, providing multiple opportunities for students to explore their career interests before graduating.
