Semester exams will be given on Monday, December 19th and Tuesday, December 20th. If a student is exempt from an exam listed below, he/she is not required to attend school during that time; however, an excused absence will be marked during those times. A student is exempt from an exam only if the teacher’s signature appears below. Final exams are worth 10% of the final average.
All students are allowed to check out after exams with this exam check-out form signed by a parent or guardian. Check out forms were due on Friday, December 16. If your student did not return a check out form please follow normal check out procedures. An excused absence will be marked for students absent during those times. Students may not leave the testing room until the end of the exam period when they will be dismissed by announcement. Students will not be dismissed from exam rooms until the end of the exam period.
Students must provide their own transportation if leaving prior to the end of the regularly scheduled school day. After leaving campus, students may not return to school unless there is a scheduled event. Bus transportation will operate on the regular schedule.
Walton County School District Exam Exemption Procedures (22-23)
9th/10th grade - may exempt ELECTIVE COURSES only if they meet the following criteria:
Grade is 85 to 89 with 3 or FEWER absences (for that class)
Grade is 90 or higher with 5 or FEWER absences (for that class)
11th/12th grade - may exempt their exams if they meet the following criteria:
Grade is 85 to 89 with 3 or FEWER absences (for that class)
Grade is 90 or higher with 5 or FEWER absences (for that class)
Note: Absences can be defined as excused and/or unexcused.

1st (Final Exam)- 7:30-9:12am
2nd (Final Exam)-9:17-11:00 am
