Walker Park Elementary's Kayla Kahlevela won as 1st place runner up in the Governor's 2017 Red Ribbon Week poster contest on Thursday, Oct. 26.  Kayla attended the event along with Ms. Hannah, parent chaperones, staff volunteers and the school chorus.

Kayla's winning poster will be featured at the Georgia Dept. for Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities in Atlanta and featured in their magazine.  WPES chorus also performed a song promoting drug free living during the ceremony.
