Our pre-kindergarten program is dependent upon funding received from Bright from the Start. We currently have two prekindergarten classes in eight of our nine elementary schools, and three classes in one of our elementary schools (LES). Each class seats twenty-two students. Registration for the new upcoming school year is usually held in February/March of the current school year. We use a "lottery" style drawing system to fill the seats each year. The remaining children are drawn in the same way and placed on a waiting list. (Curriculum: HighScope)
