This pathway begins with building a foundational understanding of computer science and programming skills using Python. The third course in the pathway focuses on all things game design! Gain an understanding of the principles of game design and development—including the game design process, programming and scripting using C# in Visual Studio, and character modeling. Learn how to use Unity, an industry-standard gaming platform, to create 2-D and 3-D games. Students will be given the opportunity to obtain the Unity Certified Associate credential.

Courses required for pathway completion: Introduction to Digital Techn or Intro to Software Tech, Computer Science Principles or AP Computer Science Principles, and Game Design: Animation & Simulation
