FBLA Fire Department Visit

In honor of the 20th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks, the Monroe Area High School Future Business Leaders of America chapter visited the Monroe Fire Department.  Adviser Tricia Brown, members Shelby Oaks, Avrie Spivey, and Makayla Walker took the Monroe Fire Department chocolate chip cookies, Dunkin Donuts and thank you cards that were created by business students and FBLA members at Monroe Area High School for their continued service to our community. The Monroe Area FBLA chapter started this service project on the first anniversary of the terrorist attacks and would like to continue to honor and thank all public service workers for their protection to our community each and every day.

Homecoming 2021


Get ready for Homecoming! 

Float building is by grade-level. Contact your student council representatives for details.

Hall decorating is on Sunday September 19th from 1-5 PM and "Chalk Your Parking Spot (seniors only) is that same day from 5-7 PM.

The Homecoming Parade will be in downtown Monroe on Thursday, September 23 at 6 PM.

The Homecoming Football Game (vs. Lakeside-Evans) will be at home in the Purple Pit on Friday, September 24 at 7:30 PM.


The Homecoming Dance (Sunset Theme) will be held in the MAHS Courtyards on Saturday, September 25 from 7-10 PM. Tickets are on sale at mypaymentsplus.com for $15 in advance. Tickets will be $20 at the door. If you are bringing a non-MAHS student as a guest please be sure to fill out and return this guest registration form to the front office [LINK]. Forms are due to Ms. Parham by Thursday, September 23.

Probe College Fair

The PROBE fair will be held on September 23 from 10-10:45 at George Walton. Juniors and Seniors should register to attend at registerprobe.com. You can save the QR code on your phone to show at the event.

Veterans Day Program

For this year's Veterans Day program, we want to celebrate YOUR loved ones who have served in the Armed Forces by showing their photographs on a slide show for the presentation. If you would like for your family member to be included, please bring a photo of your family member to Mrs. Crenshaw in room 510. The following information is what we need for the form: Student’s Name, Veteran’s Name, Veteran’s Relationship to Student, Branch of Service, Rank, and Years of Service.

2021-2022 Parking Permits

2021-2022 MAHS Parking Permits are now available for purchase online at mypaymentsplus.com! The cost is $60.00 per parking permit (Annual). Permits purchased after March 1 will cost $30.00. Students taking 4 or more classes off campus (per school year, to include Dual Enrollment and WBL) may purchase a permit for $30.00-- this will be verified with their schedule in Infinite Campus. Note: If a student is scheduled for 2 off campus classes for 1st semester and 1 for 2nd semester they will pay $60.00.
