Join FFA! Attend the January Meeting!

Any Students interested in joining FFA this semester can pick up an application outside room 801 on the bulletin board.  Dues are $15 and include a free t-shirt while supplies last.  We have monthly meetings that include Friends, Fun and Awesome Food.

The January FFA meeting is scheduled for Tuesday Jan 29th beginning at 3pm in room 801,  all are welcome, don't miss out an information about National FFA Week, Summer Leadership Camp and other Activities coming up this semester.

FBLA January Meeting and Project

FBLA Members:  Our next meeting will be Thursday, January 24th at 7am in room 215 on the Green Hall. January's community service project is to bring in a food item to help replenish the F.I.S.H. food pantry from the holidays. See the Schoology post for specific items that are needed. It's never too late to join FBLA - Join for 2nd semester for just $12.  See any business teacher for information.

21st Century Book Drive

Students and staff starting Monday, January 14th -  February 1st, we will be holding a Book Drive.   Everyone, please bring books from home that you no longer use and donate to the Book Drive.  We are accepting books for all ages (children, teens, and adults).  Books may be dropped off and placed in a box in the front office.

2019 Senior College Acceptances

Congratulations, Shuntasia Crawford on being accepted into the University of North Georgia.

We are proud to announce Mark Givens has been accepted to Truitt McConnell College for the fall semester of 2019.  Way to go Mark!

Congratulations to Ashiana Watkins.  She has been accepted to the University of North Georgia. 
Congratulations to Endia Williams.  She has been accepted to Brenau University and has been offered a $6600 annual scholarship to attend.

CTI Winners

Congratulations to our CTI Students for placing in events at the Georgia CTI State Leadership Competition! Brandon Bryant placed 3rd in the state for Technology Skill and Skyler Davis placed 3rd in Drafting and Design.

MAHS Named AP Honor School

MAHS has been named an AP Honor School in (2) categories: AP Access and Support School and AP Humanities School! Congratulations to all the Purple Hurricanes taking AP classes and the teachers who help make this program a success!
