Volleyball Work Outs and Try Outs

Volleyball workouts will begin Monday April 8th from 5-6:30 pm. Workouts will be held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6:30 pm from starting the week of April 8th til May 9th. 

During the week of May 13-17 we will have training tryouts from 3-5 pm Monday thru Friday.

Tennis Update

The girls doubles team of Allison Jones and Tori League were the lone winners in our match against Jackson County.  Our next match will be home versus Jefferson County.

Golf Update

The Monroe golf team beat Hart County 198-204 in a match on Thursday, March 21. Low scorers we're PA Kilburn at 37 and Ethan Dougherty at 47.

Food and Arts Study Abroad Parent Meeting

Any students interested in going to London with Ms. Foley and Mrs. Roberts for the Food and Arts study abroad next year will need to come to an informational meeting with your parents on Tuesday, March 26th at 6:00pm in Coach Foley's room on the purple hall.

Walton County Junior/Senior Basketball Game

Please come out Wednesday, March 27th at Social Circle and watch some of our seniors and juniors play in the Walton County Junior/Senior Basketball Game. The girls game will start at 6:00pm followed by the boys game at 7:30pm.

Congratulations to Ashiana Watkins.  She has been accepted to the University of North Georgia and Gordon State College.
 
Congratulations to Endia Williams.  She has been accepted to Brenau University and has been offered a $6600 annual scholarship to attend.

Powderpuff Games!

It's time to sign up to play Powder Puff, where the girls play football & the boys play volleyball. Stop by room 113 on the Red Hall to pick up a form if you're interested in playing this year. The Powder Puff Football game is Thursday, April 25, 2019 and the Powder Puff Volleyball game is Thursday, May 2, 2019. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Abdulai or Dr. Lynch.

March FBLA Service

FBLA members:  Your March Community service project is to bring in an EASTER stuffed animal or Easter basket toy.  PLEASE go ahead and bring in these items EARLY so we can get them to the ladies of Monroe Jr. Woman's Club.

Spanish Club Meeting!

CTI Winners

Congratulations to our CTI Students for placing in events at the Georgia CTI State Leadership Competition! Brandon Bryant placed 3rd in the state for Technology Skill and Skyler Davis placed 3rd in Drafting and Design.

MAHS Named AP Honor School

MAHS has been named an AP Honor School in (2) categories: AP Access and Support School and AP Humanities School! Congratulations to all the Purple Hurricanes taking AP classes and the teachers who help make this program a success!
