Distinguished Unit Award

MAHS GA-956 has earned another Distinguished Unit Award.  This is the top award that a unit can get unless they are inspected that year then it would be "Distinguished Unit with Merit".  The levels are: 1st - Distinguished Unit (DUA), 2nd - Outstanding Organizational Award (OOA), 3rd - Meets Standards, 4th - Meets Standards with discrepancies, 5th - Does not meet standards. 

Lt Joseph Helton Flight
The Lt Joseph Helton Flight is our Honor Team Organization and our unit's Kitty Hawk Society organization, named for Lt. Joseph Helton. To be a member of the Lt Joseph Helton Flight, individuals must display the highest standards of professionalism, academic achievement, physical fitness, community involvement and represent the unit, their school and themselves in a way that emulates Lt Joseph Helton.

JHF Uniform wear day is Wednesday each week in addition to special events.
