What is LEAP?
Learning, Enrichment, Academic, Program...
The 21st Century Community Learning Center grant is a federally funded program that is designed to offer students a wide array of programs, from academic support, small group tutoring, and enrichment programs that expose students to new skills. LEAP is offered to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. We strongly encourage families to participate in their child's learning and offer parent events throughout the school year. We also partner with community partners and volunteers, who are a vital part of our program.
A nutritional snack and free bus transportation is offered to all participants. (Need for transportation must be indicated on the application.)
What do students learn in LEAP?
The LEAP program tackles teaching with a different approach. Students all learn differently and LEAP works to find what works best for each student. LEAP uses hands-on tools, reviews unmastered skills, and works to advance every student in the program.
How do I register for LEAP?
Parents must register their child. Spots are limited so fill out all needed paperwork and submiit.
