Student Council

Welcome to Loganville Middle School's Student Council!
We hope you find some useful information about our clubs and what we do. Please contact us if you have any further questions.

The Student Council is involved in a variety of activities and events at the school.
Our students help plan and execute:
Dress-UP Days - Dress-Up days will occur once a month and all students and staff members are encouraged to participate. The dress-up days will be determined by the committee members. They will also be in charge of taking photos during lunch of students/staff members that are dressed up.
Police and Fire Department Appreciation - In January, we will thank our law enforcement and fire department for their dedication and services to the Loganville community. We will deliver goodies to the local fire department and police department. This committee will be responsible for planning this event and executing the delivery of these items.
School-wide Can Food Drive - In November, LMS students will collect can foods and non-perishable items for local families to enjoy during the holidays. The homeroom in each grade level that collects the most items will win a pizza party. This committee will be in charge of advertising this event, collecting the can foods each day, and keeping a count for each homeroom.
Spirit Week
Talent Show - In February, the LMS Student Council will hold the annual talent show during the school day. We will hold auditions for the LMS student body, plan the event, and hold dress rehearsals for the big event. This is our only fundraiser for the year.
Teacher Appreciation - In May, we will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week by planning the annual Teacher Appreciation Lunch for the LMS staff. This committee will be in charge of planning the event, decorating, and working the luncheon.
Teacher Retirement Banquet - All officers will be involved in this event that takes plan in May. We will plan the retirement banquet for all LMS teachers who are retiring this year.
