In the Loganville Middle School Band program, students learn how to play a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument. In order to do this, they are taught the basics of music, how to work together in a disciplined rehearsal environment, and are provided the skills to perform in a professional and musical manner. Our band performs at two concerts each year (Christmas and Spring) along with several other performance opportunities! These include our yearly LGPE (Large Group Performance Evaluation) concert, in which you receive scores from professional judges, extracurricular ensembles such as a Pep Band, and even an opportunity to play at a football game with the High School Marching Band in 8th grade!
