Future Business Leaders of America

FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is a dynamic organization of young people preparing as leaders in business, government, and communities. Our mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

FBLA teachers middle school students’ skills that are needed in everyday life. Students also have the opportunity to be recognized at the local, state and national levels through various competitions. Any middle school student is eligible to become a member. Membership dues are $15 for the year and $10 for a T-shirt. Bi-monthly after school meetings are held on Tuesdays and additional project activities are held periodically. Please email an advisor or visit Mrs. Brown’s website for more information--go to People, then Connections, then Mrs. Brown.

FBLA has a variety of activities throughout the year from meetings, guest speakers from the community, games, social events, field trips to the FBLA Fall Rally at the State Fair in Perry, GA and the Fall Leadership Conference in Athens, GA. We have members with various interests and many are in other activities and sports at LMS.
