Work-Based Learning provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills, and work habits that increase the potential for career and college success. WBL allows students to earn CTAE course credits by working in a career-related or non-career-related field and/or participating in internships/apprenticeships in a student’s career area. Students are able to gain real-world experiences in the workforce, explore careers, and build employability skills. Requirements to apply for WBL: Students must be 16 when the semester begins, have a 2.5+ GPA, good attendance and behavior history, and must have taken at least one (1) CTAE class in order to qualify for WBL.

The minimum amount of hours has to be worked each week in order to get the following amount of blocks on your schedule:
1 block= 7.5 hours 2 blocks= 15 hours 3 blocks= 22.5 hours
