To join the Monroe Area High School Cheerleading teams for the 18-19 school year students must complete the application process:
-Complete the Cheerleading Application Form (link to form here
-Submit a new physical OR have a current 2018-2019 physical on file with the MAHS Athletic Department
-Pay a $100 deposit (refundable if you do not join the squad)
-Read all elements of the Cheerleading Information Packet (link to packet here
-Submit a signed copy of the MAHS Cheer Canes Parent Contract
-Submit a signed copy of the MAHS Cheer Canes Parent Permission Form
-Submit a signed copy of the MAHS Cheer Canes Values Contract
-Submit a signed copy of the insurance waiver form (link to form here
Students must also attend the following events as part of the application process:
-Mandatory Information meeting March 20 @ 7:00 PM in Room 201
-Participate in the Football and Competition Cheer Tryouts on April 9-12, 2018
If you need to print out any of these forms please visit the MAHS Media Center for complimentary printing. Completed forms must be turned in to Ms. Brown in room 201.
All forms, completed application, and payment are due Thursday, March 29. Please see Calendar for all scheduled events, dates and times may be changed as needed.
Tryouts for Basketball Cheerleading will be held in the Fall.
