We would like to announce the winner of the Young Georgia Authors competition.

Kimber Hett is the winner from Walnut Grove Elementary.

Kimber is in 4th grade and her writing piece will continue on in competition with other students across North Georgia.

Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade were asked to submit a piece of writing to be judged in the county. Kimber's writing was chosen out of all of the students at Walnut Grove!

We are so proud of Kimber.
