What is 4-H?

The Georgia 4-H program is part of the youth development program of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. 4-H is the largest youth organization in the world.

The mission of Georgia 4-H is to assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society.

Any youth K-12th grade is eligible to join 4-H.

All 5th grade students in the Walton County School District, Social Circle City Schools and George Walton Academy participate in 4-H through monthly club meetings.
