This is just a reminder that submissions for the Young Georgia Author’s Competition are due by the end of the school day on Friday, January 27th. You must turn in both the permission form and your writing submission in order to be considered for the contest. Monroe and on Thursday, Feb 2 at Monroe Golf Club. Please make sure

Loganville High School is proud to be hosting this year's Walton County Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl competition tomorrow from 8:00 am to noon. Please come out to support some of the best readers in the county as they compete against each other in a quiz-bowl type competition. Good luck to our very own LHS Reading Bowl team as they compete against Monroe Area and Walnut Grove high schools.
Any student who is interested in joining the LHS Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society needs to email Mr. Teeple and then pay the one time $10 initiation fee through MyPaymentsPlus. Only students who have a 3.0 GPA in their Math classes and are enrolled in Algebra 2 or higher are eligible to join Mu Alpha Theta.
Seniors: On May 18th at the senior scholarship and awards night, we will be awarding over $65,000 in scholarships. In order for you to be eligible for any of the community scholarships, you have to complete the application process. The Community Scholarship application is due on Tuesday, Jan 31 and this application link is posted in the Senior Schoology group and has been emailed to you from Mrs. Mitchell.
