My name is Whitney Cornman, and I graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2012. I also have my master's degree from the University of North Georgia as well. I have been teaching since 2013, and  I have experience teaching special education and 5th grade. I am married to my husband, Andrew, who is a mechanical engineer. We have a son, Judah and daughter, Micah. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy running, hiking, traveling, and baking.  

Hello! My name is Katie King and I am so excited to be at Walker Park! I started teaching in 21-22 after graduating from the University of Georgia in May ‘21 with my Masters and gifted endorsement. Prior to that, I completed my Bachelor's at Georgia College & State University ‘20. I feel so fortunate to be teaching in the same county I was taught in. I went to elementary, middle, and high school in Walton County and couldn't imagine a better place to be than Walker Park! 

I enjoy laughing with my students and believe that the best way to help students is to foster a love for learning. I enjoy spending time with my family. My hobbies include: hiking, kayaking, and reading. GO EAGLES!!

Hello! This will be my sixth year in education. I have taught third grade, fourth grade, and am so excited to teach fifth grade this upcoming year at the Park! I have my Bachelor’s and Masters degrees in Elementary Education from Georgia Southern, and I am currently pursuing my PhD from UGA. I love being a dog mom to my eleven month old puppy, Sora. In my spare time I enjoy taking him on walks, baking, and spending time with friends and family. I am thrilled to be joining the Walker Park family this year!
