Biographical Information:
I am a Loganville native. I graduated from LHS in 2005. I was involved in chorus, Girls trio (winning 2 region titles), basketball, and CLC. In 2010, I received my first bachelor's degree in exercise science from Georgia State University in Atlanta. I originally wanted to go into physical therapy, but instead I chose to stay home and raise my two boys for 9 years. Because of my love for science, I later decided to go back to school to study education and inspire that same passion for science in young people. In 2022, I received my second bachelor's degree in secondary education of biological sciences, from Western Governors University, where I received 2 academic excellence awards. I enjoy spending time with my husband James, our children, our sweet pup Louie, and our big extended family. We are always playing soccer and baseball! We are huge fans of the Braves and Atlanta United! I also enjoy spending time with my friends, reading, singing, and playing the piano.
