Biographical Information:
I am originally from Birmingham, AL. I attended Jacksonville State University on a full-tuition music scholarship where I was in the world-renown "Marching Southerners", Chamber Winds, and Opera Theater. I later earned my masters in music education degree from Georgia College and State University and my doctorate in music education degree from the University of Georgia. My dissertation focused on lesson planning, teaching strategies and behaviors of beginning band classes. I have also completed coursework towards certification in educational leadership. I live with my wife who is a nurse and my daughter who will be in Pre-K at LES.
