16 years of Keeping Walton Beautiful
Monroe Area FBLA met Thursday, October 21, 2020 for its Community Service meeting.  Sixteen years ago Monroe Area Future Business Leaders of America adopted the mile in front of the high school and board of education building on Double Springs Church Road as a part of the Keep Walton Beautiful program.  Eighteen members met after school for our business meeting, we collect and rolled $49.60 worth of dimes for our March of Dimes donation in honor of Prematurity Awareness Month in November. We also put together Halloween goody bags for the ECE Little Cane Learners and went over our chapter events and region competition coming up soon. Then members put on their gloves, and collected trash along both sides of the street as a part of their community service project.  Members enjoyed refreshments of pizza and cookies upon completion of the community service.
