Air Force JROTC Unit Evaluation
Walton County School District’s Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) instructors and cadets underwent a formal unit evaluation and earned the highest attainable overall score of “Exceeds Standards.

The purpose of a formal evaluation is to provide feedback regarding the performance of the AFJROTC unit and to assess its compliance with Public Law, Department of Defense and Air Force Instructions, as well as the written agreement which exists between the school district and the Air Force.

“Lt Col (Ret) Terry L. Robinson and MSgt (Ret) George Curry have created a dynamic and supportive learning environment coupled with excellent community outreach,” said Rob Atkins, AFJROTC headquarters representative. “These instructors have provided outstanding leadership in administering this cadet-centered citizenship program. The cadets have performed exceptionally well and take great pride in leading and accomplishing their unit goals. The Air Force ROTC citizenship program is making a positive impact on the cadets, the school and the community.”

Currently, 175 students from Loganville, Monroe Area and Walnut Grove High Schools are enrolled in WCSD’s Air Force JROTC program.
