WGHS: Car Rider Traffic Flow & Student Parking
Car Rider / Drivers:
• Enter from Guthrie Cemetery Rd.
• Follow the detour (pictured: green arrows) to the Athletic Facility
• Turn around at round-a-bout at the Stadium
• Enter the main line and drop-off/pick-up students in front of the school
• Exit at the round-a-bout at Park St. and Emmett Still Rd.
Student Drivers:
• Mornings: Enter from Guthrie Cemetery Rd., park in the upper lot or follow the detour through the round-a-bout and park in the lower lot. Please use the walking trail to the ECE Entrance when using the Lower Lot
• Afternoons:
• Main Line (w/crosswalk) and Construction Line (pictured red)-Exit to the round-a-bout at Park St. and Emmett Still Rd. The tops of these lanes will be closed in the student parking lot to facilitate the one-way traffic pattern.
• All Other Parking Areas (pictured blue) may exit at the round-a-bout at Park St. and Emmett Still Rd. or to Guthrie Cemetery Rd.
Student Parking Areas:
• Outside A and B Halls-Park in the Upper Lot between the crosswalk and Guthrie Cemetery Road
*Do Not Park In Front of or Near the Construction Zone
• Athletic Facility Parking-Park in the Lower Lot and use the walkway to enter at the ECE entrance by 7:30am
Student Parking Reminders:
• Front Doors are open from 6:50 to 7:30 am
• A and C Hall doors are open from 7:00 to 7:30 am
• ECE door is open from 7:00 to 7:30 am
• Student Drivers must have a current parking pass properly displayed on their windshield.
• Student Drivers may only park in the approved areas listed above.
Do not park in the visitor lot or spaces designated for staff, including between the crosswalk and the building, behind E-Hall, behind the gym/weight room, etc.
• Painted Parking Spaces are reserved for the students who purchased the painted parking spaces.
• In-Season Athletes should park at the athletic complex in the morning. You will not be able to move your car to the athletic complex after school.
