CTI State Leadership Conference

Career and Technical Instruction (CTI) students from Loganville High, Monroe Area High and Walnut Grove High Schools attended the virtual CTI State Leadership Conference where they competed against students from across the state in various career/technical areas. Students did very well in their competitive events and had 10 Top 3 finishes. In addition, Kayleigh Dorfman and Katlynn Rutledge both received a $500 Outstanding Senior Scholarship, Monroe Area CTI Coordinator Jami Cash was named 2021 Outstanding New CTI Coordinator and Loganville and Walnut Grove were recognized as the two of the top three highest contributors in the state for their fundraising efforts to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. 

Attending the conference were coordinators Jami Cash from Monroe Area, Alice McClure from Walnut Grove and Trudy Shirah from Loganville. Students Nicole Baynes, Kayleigh Dorfman, Gavin Gray, Mary Norton, Meghan Breyer, Chase Cannon, Jason Breyer, Madison Brodnax, Lakota Garmon, Katlynn Rutledge and Ashton Santiago also participated in this year's conference.
