As part of the Walton County School District eSmart initiative, students are provided Chromebooks for their classes. Loganville High School parents/guardians can purchase the Chromebook Usage and Protection Plan for $10.00, which allows students to take home the Chromebooks and reduces the cost of any repairs. The $10.00 fee can be paid through our online payment system, My Payments Plus, with a credit card, debit card, or check. Here is the schedule for Chromebook Distribution at LHS.Thursday, July 20, 2023: Parents can begin paying for the Chromebook Usage and Protection Plan (UPP) at www.mypaymentsplus.com.Wednesday, August 2, 2023: All students will receive their Chromebooks and chargers on the first day of school during advisement. For the first few days, students will be able to take home their Chromebooks without paying the Chromebook UPP.Monday, August 7, 2023: Students who have not paid for the Chromebook UPP by August 7 will not be able to take home their Chromebooks. Those students will be placed on a daily checkout for their Chromebooks. Students will pick up their Chromebooks in the Media Center in the mornings and then return them at the end of the school day. They will also be responsible for the full cost of any repairs. Once the Chromebook UPP has been paid, students can start taking home their Chromebooks again.If parents/guardians want to decline the Chromebook UPP, they will need to complete a copy of the UPP form and choose the option to decline the plan. Copies of the form are available in the Media Center and the front office. If the plan is not purchased, students will be on a daily checkout for their Chromebooks and will not be able to take them home.
