Students enrolled in grades 3-8 in the Walton County School District will take the Georgia Milestones End of Grade Assessment May 9 - 12, 2023. The EOG is designed to measure the knowledge and skills taught in Georgia classrooms. Students will be assessed on how well they have learned Georgia's content standards for their grades. Results from the tests will be provided to school and parents.
Middle school testing will take place in the mornings on the following schedule:
- Tuesday, May 9 - English Language Arts Section 1
- Wednesday, May 10 - English Language Arts Section 2 & 3
- Thursday, May 11 - Mathematics
- Friday, May 12 - Science & Social Studies (Grade 8 Only)
As with any assessment, we ask that you talk to your child about giving their best efforts on the test. Students can perform best when they arrive at school on time, calm, rested, and have eaten breakfast.
