Senior Exams

Thursday, May 18
1st - 7:30-9:12 am
2nd -9:17-11:00 am
3rd (Final Exam) - 11:05-1:00 pm
4th (Final Exam) -1:05-dismissal

Friday, May 19
1st (Final Exam)- 7:30-9:12 am
2nd (Final Exam)-9:17-11:00 am

Chromebooks and chargers will be collected in the MAHS Media Center after you complete all final exams. Everything should be turned in by11 am on Friday, May 19. Students not taking exams (exempt, PSO, HHB, WBL, etc.) can return their device anytime before May 19.

Grades 9-11 Exams

Tuesday, May 23
1st (Final Exam)- 7:30-9:12 am
2nd (Final Exam)-9:17-11:00 am

3rd- 11:05-1:00 pm

Students in Grades 9-11 will turn in chromebooks and chargers in 4th block after exams on Wednesday, May 24 (before early release). Students not taking 4th block exams on May 24 (exempt, PSO, GAVS, etc.) and Junior Marshals/Ushers can return their device to the Media Center anytime before May 24.

Exam Exemption Procedures (22-23)
Exam exemption forms are available in the front office. Senior Exemption forms are due May 17. Exemption forms for students in grades 9-11 are due May 22.

9th/10th grade - may exempt ELECTIVE COURSES only if they meet the following criteria:
Grade is 85 to 89 with 3 or FEWER absences (for that class)
Grade is 90 or higher with 5 or FEWER absences (for that class)  
                                             
11th/12th grade - may exempt their exams if they meet the following criteria:
Grade is 85 to 89 with 3 or FEWER absences (for that class)
Grade is 90 or higher with 5 or FEWER absences (for that class)

Additional Exam Information:
Exam Exemption is calculated separately for each semester.  
Students must attend and complete all standardized tests given in any EOC and AP courses in which they are enrolled.
Students enrolled in an AP course who elect not to take the AP exam will be required to take a final exam in that course. Students who elect to not take the AP exam and fail to take the class final exam will receive a zero in the final assessment category in Infinite Campus.
