ELOST

Educational Local Option Sales Tax - Vote November 2

The Walton County School District appreciates the generosity and support of its community through Educational Local Option Sales Tax (ELOST)! For over 20 years, this one penny sales tax has afforded local school districts the opportunity to receive support from everyone who shops and stays in Walton County, not just property owners.

ELOST has and will continue to fund renovations, additions and projects that keep our schools up-to-date and safe. In addition, these funds are used to purchase and/or upgrade equipment as needed. This includes playgrounds, school buses, HVAC systems, copiers, classroom furniture, lab equipment and more. A complete list of current and previous WCSD ELOST projects is listed below.

We encourage all citizens to vote on the ELOST renewal on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
