Mrs. Kendall graduated from Loganville High School, and went onto Piedmont College in Demorest, GA where she also played softball. She returned home to Loganville and began coaching softball and basketball at Loganville High School and taught PE at Loganville Elementary. Mrs. Kendall has taught at Loganville Christian as well as George Walton. As she returned to WCPS she wanted to be in the science classroom so she pursued her certifications in middle grades science as well as gifted. Mrs. Kendall currently teaches 7th grade science. Over her many years in education, she has coached softball, basketball, track, cross country and volleyball. Mrs. Kendall stated, “Coaching has given me the opportunity to love students outside the walls of academics. I have had the privilege to build relationships that have extended from the players to their parents and family.”

When asked about teaching at YMS, Mrs. Kendall stated, “I hope to complete my years of teaching here at Youth Middle. I love Walton County. It is my home. I love my people and it is a blessing to walk through life daily with them. YMS is a place I look forward to coming to every morning and pursuing new opportunities to invest in relationships that can last a lifetime. Our administration strives to nurture students academically, socially and emotionally. I believe YMS is one of the best middle schools in our State.”

YMS is proud to call Mrs. Kendall our Teacher of the Year!
