I am thrilled to be a part of the Youth Middle family and look forward to having a successful school year. My goal is to help each student and family feel welcome and find success here at YMS. I remember my middle school years fondly and I want the same for each of our students.

Middle school is my passion. As a teacher, I spent time in the 7th and 8th grades, teaching multiple subjects. Additionally, I coached soccer at the middle and high school levels for several years. I enjoy working with middle school students and helping them determine how to navigate school and life in what can be an exceptionally challenging time in their development. With teaching experience at the middle school level and coaching experience at the high school level, I understand what students need to be successful in the present day and in the future. Whether it is in academics, athletics, music, art, or another interest, I believe that each student has a strength that can be developed here at Youth Middle School in order to prepare them for the next stage in life. It is rewarding to see students develop into responsible young adults and my goal is to ensure that Youth Middle is an environment where that can happen.
