Music Notes

Music classes at YES give students an opportunity to experience music of many styles and cultures, learn the elements of music, learn how music relates to other subjects like history and science and even learn to read music and play instruments! They also get to perform at various times throughout the school year.

Chorus

​Fourth and fifth grade students who love to perform also have the opportunity to join the YES Chorus, affectionately known as the Stinger Singers. The YES Chorus will be learning proper choral singing techniques and exploring music from many musical styles. We perform concerts inside and outside the school as opportunities arise. We will be producing a holiday concert in December and a spring musical in May.
