My name is Courtney Bailey and this will be my 11th year teaching! I received my Bachelor's degree from Lee University and my Master's degree from Bethel University. My family is a very lively bunch and in the fall, you'll find us cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs! I live in Monroe with my two fur-babies, Luke and Lexi. I am so grateful to be joining the Walker Park family!

My name is Meashaun Brown. I am a native of Walton County. I have been teaching in Walton County since 1994. I received a Bachelor’s degree from Mercer University, a Master’s and Specialist degree from Piedmont College and English as a Second or Other Language (ESOL) certification through Northeast Georgia RESA. My husband, Michael and I are blessed with 3 wonderful sons. I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my family. I look forward to getting to know each of you as we work together to make this a great year.

I'm beyond excited to be on this amazing team at Walker Park! I thoroughly enjoy working with children of all ages and am passionate about assisting them in increasing their speech, language and communication skills to help them thrive inside and outside of the classroom. I am an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, so please feel free to say "GO DAWGS" as you pass me in the hallway! I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with my husband and 2 children.

Holmes, Dawn

My name is Dawn Holmes. I graduated from UGA in 1995 with a degree in Psychology. I went back to school and graduated in 1999 with my Masters in Early Childhood Education. I am certified to teach Special Education and I have an ESOL Endorsement. I completed my Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College in December of 2013. I have been teaching since 1995. I have taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Special Education and ESOL. I have taught in Gwinnett County, Houston County, and Walton County.
I got married in 2006. We have 2 little boys. We attend church in Walton County. My favorite activity outside of school and church is traveling, especially going to the beach with my family.
I love teaching and I am excited to be a part of your child’s education and life. I feel honored to have the opportunity to work with both you and your child. Please feel free to contact me any time that you have questions or concerns. I understand the needs that you have as a parent to know that your child is in the best hands.

I have been teaching in Walton County since 2012. My husband and I have 2 boys. Our oldest is in college and our youngest will be a sophomore in high school. We live on the same farm where I was raised. We have many types of livestock, poultry, and produce most of our food. We enjoy doing anything outside! We are also a 4-H family, a clay-target family, and a college softball loving family!

I have worked ten years as a private preschool teacher and four years as a parapro. I live in Walnut Grove with my husband, three sons, two dogs, one cat, and two sugar gliders.

Hello My name is Beth Page, I have worked in the field of early intervention with children ages birth to five years beginning in 1988. My experience includes preschool special education with 3, 4, and 5 years old including classroom, home and community-based services and supports. I also spent 15 years providing contract work with Babies Can't Wait, Georgia's early intervention program for children ages birth to three years. I believe early intervention is key to narrowing the gaps and building independent, self-directed learners! I am a graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.S.Ed. and a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Preschool Special Education. I love the Georgia Bulldawgs and everything UGA. I am a lifelong bowler staring at age 12 and I bowled on the Women's team for Georgia Southern College making it all the way to the National Championships for Bowling. I love baking and cooking. I am married and have five children and one grandchild. I am excited to be a part of the Walton County School system.

Hello - my name is Gentry Peters and I have been teaching at Walker Park since 2018. Prior to teaching in Walton County, I taught 5th grade in Gwinnett County Public Schools. I am a product of the Walton County School District and thoroughly enjoy being able to give back to my community. I graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College with my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and obtained my Master's in Special Education from Georgia Southern University. When I am not at school, my husband and I follow our two children's busy schedule. Brayden and Bristol are avid FFA members and love to show livestock. We love to travel in our camper and we run off to the mountains and the lake whenever we have the chance!
