My name is Janet Bouysou and I am married with one daughter. I have taught third grade at Walker Park for ten years and I currently teach 2nd grade. I also taught 6th grade, 5th grade and 2nd grade before I came to Walker Park.

Hi there! I’m Katie Leathers. I have been in education since 2010. I have a BFA in Interior Design from Valdosta State and a Masters in Teaching from UGA. I have experience in Kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. This year I will be teaching 2nd grade for the first time!  I am married and have two sweet kids. We also have two dogs that love to run around. I enjoy decorating, taking walks, painting with my kids, and trying new recipes. We also love watching GA football and cheer on our Dawgs!  I love taking photos of my family, nature, and classroom experiences. I enjoy being outside and taking my students into nature to learn and listen.  I’m very excited to be at Walker Park and contribute to all the amazing things I hear about this school.  

My name is Tina Malcom. I have been with Walker Park Elementary since 1997. I have worked with 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students during my career.

I am a native to Walton County and live in Monroe. I have 3 wonderful daughters: Emma, Carley, and Lindsay. We have one fur baby, a Wheaten Terrier, named Nala. We love going to Disney World and Fort Walton Beach!!

I graduated from North Georgia College with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and worked 6 years for SunTrust Bank as a Commercial Lender. After my first child was born, I decided to be a full time mom. After 6 years at home, I decided to go back to work and wanted to go into education. I obtained my Masters in Teaching from Brenau University and have been working in education since 2009. I completed my Gifted Endorsement in June 2013.

I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, sewing & other crafts, when I can find spare time. I am always a Disney Villain for Halloween and I love all things Disney, Pete the Cat, Georgia Bulldogs and Diet Coke!!?
