2-Hour Delay
The Walton County School District will delay start times on Tuesday, Dec. 11 by two hours.
Please report to your building two hours later than your regularly scheduled time.
All schools and offices will close and release at their regularly scheduled times. 

AP Enrollment

AP Commitment

By taking an AP Course at Walnut Grove High School, you are committing to the following:
  • AP courses require a great level of time commitment.
  • Summer work is often a requirement.
  • Students experiencing difficulty in AP courses must seek additional assistance from their AP teacher.
  • Students will not be permitted to drop an AP class post June 8th, 2018.
  • Students will not be permitted to drop an AP class due to Dual Enrollment post July 13th, 2018. (MUST show enrollment papers as well as the course taken.)
  • Students are expected to take the AP exam in May 2019. 

Enrollment in Advanced Placement at Walnut Grove

The enrollment process for Advanced Placement begins at the end of January.  

Student can be recommended by teachers for AP courses during the course request process; however, all students will be required to fill out any and all contracts.

AP contracts will be completed electronically and are DUE Friday, March 23rd.  

Enrollment is limited, based on course requirements, and a first come first serve basis.
