As Sharon Elementary School PTO officers we hope to do our part to help make this a great year at Sharon Elementary, as well as to continue to foster involvement and support from our Sharon families.
PTO Programs
Our primary objective as a PTO is to provide our school with funds, programs, resources, and services that will enrich and maximize the education and well-being of every SES child and benefit the school. To meet this important objective, we fundraise. Here are a few programs that we sponsor and/or support: Phonics Program (Reading A to Z), Jag of the Month, Jr. Beta Club/National Elementary Honor Society, School Supplies for Teachers, Family Movie Nights, Teacher Appreciation Events and more. In addition to these regular items, each year we sponsor a large project of choice costing under/around $10K: during the 2015-2016 school year we added a new set of swings to the SES playground and during 2016-2017 PTO financed one new set of 32 Chromebooks with cart.
PTO Fundraising
In order to fund our programs/projects, we run a number of fun events each year, which include Bingo Nights, Jag Jam, Santa Shop, Basket Raffle, a Festival and Craft Fair, Father-Daughter Dance and Mother-Son Board Game Night. In addition, we participate in Box Tops, Labels for Education, Publix Partners, Kroger Community Rewards, Ingles Advantage for Schools, and run regular Spirit Nights with local vendors (come join us for our Chick-fil-A Nights every second Tuesday of each month!) Please check the attached calendar and plan to volunteer and/or attend.

Family membership to the SES PTO is only $5 and includes a discount card for local merchants. By joining, you help to fund these programs. We thank you in advance for your support!
