The USDA has not granted school districts the ability to extend the "meals at no cost" waiver for the 2022-23 school year. As a result, families must either pay for meals or be determined eligible to receive free or reduced price meal benefits.
|Total Meal Prices by Month|
*A la carte (extras) prices will be posted in the school cafeteria.
Student customers must select either a half (1/2) cup serving of fruit or fruit juice for their breakfast meal to be charged at the correct status. Students may pick up one of all fruits offered and still pay the regular price. At lunch, students have the option to pick up one of all fruits and vegetables offered and still pay the regular price, but they must have at least a half (1/2) cup of fruit or a half (1/2) cup of vegetables on their plate. Milk is offered and encouraged, but students are not required to pick up milk.
Extra items, including milk, must be purchased separately at the full price listed in the school cafeteria. Meal benefits do not apply for extra a la carte items.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to visit and eat lunch with students. However, student meal benefits do not apply to adult meals.
