The Monroe Elementary Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers program is proud and privileged to serve students and their families from 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Please contact us or the school to receive a student registration form. We will notify you in writing when your registration form has been received. You will also receive written notification of your child's status in the program when school begins. Students will be enrolled as a full-time participant, or they will be placed on a waiting list if space is not available. Please remember that students are expected to attend Monday through Thursday. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to serving our students.

The goals and objectives are to increase learning through academic enrichment activities, engage students by offering various cultural, recreational, art activities not normally offered during the regular school day.

We strongly encourage families to participate in their child's learning and offer parent events throughout the school year.

We partner with community partners and volunteers, who are a  vital part of our program.

A nutritional snack and free bus transportation is offered to all participants.
