• Students may visit the media center from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. once daily to exchange their library books.
• Most classes visit the media center once a week to exchange their book.  Please check with your child's teacher for their time.
• Students are allowed to come as needed with permission from teachers.

Check-Outs

• PreK-2nd grades can check out 1 book for one week. 
• 3rd-5th grades can check out 2 books for two weeks.  Books can be renewed if additional time is needed.  
• Parents may check out materials/games from our Parent Resource Room.
•  It is our policy that students may only choose a new book if they have returned their library book.  If they have an overdue book, it must be returned or renewed before checking out another book.  We do not charge overdue fines, but lost or damaged books must be paid for. A notice will be sent home for lost or damaged book.

Book Care Rules 

• Read with clean hands.
• Turn pages carefully.
• Use bookmarks to help save your place while reading.
• Never mark or write in the book.
• Keep food and drinks away from books.
• Keep books in a special place at home.
• Return books on time, so others can enjoy reading them.
