Welcome to the media center.  I'm Ashlie Smith. I was bornin a small town in Indiana, but moved here when I was two years old. I have been married to my husband Jared since 2008. We have one daughter, Millie Kate.  I love reading, spending time exploring outdoors, and taking trips to almost anywhere! We are huge Disney fans and enjoy many family vacations 

 

I graduated from Florida State with a Masters of Library and Information Science in 2005.  I then graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Specialist in Instructional Technology in 2020.  I am a certified PK-5 teacher, PK-5 Special Education certified, certified media specialist and maintain my public library license.  I have taught grades K, 1, 2 and 4 and have worked in the public library performing everything from genealogy, circulation, cataloging, training and Children's Librarian.
