Do you ever wonder how long a food will remain safe once you've purchased it? What about once you've opened it? Click on the link to the FoodKeeper App provided by FoodSafety.gov and browse through general categories of foods (for example: purchased frozen or dairy products) OR browse through by general types of foods (for example: meat or poultry). There are even important reminder steps to make sure you're keeping your food safe during production!

The Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGA) is updated and published every five years to establish the scientific and policy basis for all Federal nutrition programs, including research, education, nutrition assistance, labeling and nutrition promotion.
