Welcome to Carver Middle School!
On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to welcome you to Carver Middle School. Carver has a rich and storied history of providing exceptional support and guidance to students. Our staff is dedicated to professional learning communities that provide teachers with the opportunity to collaboratively plan using data to drive instructional decisions. Our focus is to consistently provide quality instruction, with high rigor, to all students. Further, this school year we will implement Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). PBIS is a student support framework proven to improve school climates, increase academic achievement and reduce disciplinary incidents.
Although we maintain high expectations and have many innovative practices in place, we will only be successful by working with you. Please stay involved in your student’s education. Communicate with the teachers, review Schoology sites and simply talk with your student about his/her day.
I look forward to working with you as we continue to provide excellent educational opportunities for all students at Carver Middle School.
