Parents! This year’s main fundraiser is the Walnut Grove Fun Run! It’s a 9-day program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on January 16th. Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps), and we’ll celebrate at the Fun Run on January 25th. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for supporting classroom instruction, PBIS student incentives, and supplies.
Students will also experience an amazing character theme, CASTLE QUEST, an English castle theme all about being brave and building positive character traits. On their quest to regain Bravemore Castle, students will learn the “SIX VIRTUES of a TRUE HERO” from a cast of colorful characters.
All families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Fun Run!
The Fun Runs will take place in the Gym on January 25th at the following times –
= 9:00 (PK-K)
= 10:00 (3rd)
= 11:00 (1st)
= 12:00 (5th)
= 1:00 (2nd)
= 2:00 (4th)
