Senior Letters 2019

SENIOR LETTER INFO:

It has been a tradition at WGHS that the Student Government Association coordinates the collection and distribution of ‘Senior Letters’ to graduating seniors. Each year Seniors receive an envelope containing letters from family, friends, coaches, teachers (current and past) when collecting their diploma. Parents are strongly encouraged to begin collecting senior letters from family now!

Letters often share pride in your WGHS graduate, wishes for their future, reminiscence of kindergarten drop-offs and memorable moments from their past 18 years. These letters are very important to the seniors, so please make sure your child has at least 5 or more to open. Letters from family should be collected by the parent and brought to the WGHS front office and placed into the collection bin.

Senior letters can be written on notebook paper, colored paper, stationary, cards, etc. and should be placed in envelopes. Please do not expect the school to print the letters from emails. This would be impossible for the number of graduating seniors we have each year.

CHECKLIST:

Please make sure your senior’s first and last name is written clearly and spelled correctly on each envelope.
Please send letters or cards only! No gifts!!
Collection boxes for the letters are available in the front office.
The last day to turn in Senior letters is Friday, May 17th
Thank you for supporting our graduating seniors.
