The HES Annual Book Character Parade will take place at 9:00 am on Friday, March 6th, 2020.  Please see information below:

 

It’s time to bring your favorite book character to life! This year, on Friday, March 6th students will have the opportunity to participate in a book character parade. We encourage you NOT to buy a costume for this project. Instead, be creative and use materials from around your house to make clothes, props, or anything else your character would wear.

 Let’s make this a great event!

=        No inappropriate Halloween type costumes will be permitted. No fake blood or scary masks. Children dressed inappropriately will not participate in the parade.

=         We ask that you dress your child up as a character that was a book FIRST, not a movie. There are so many amazing books out there. Make one come to life!

=         All students must have a book to go with their costumes.

=         Parade will begin promptly at 9:00 AM on March 6, 2020
