The 21st Century Program is an extended-day program after school. The 21st CCLC programs provide a high-quality after school program that responds to the identified needs of students and their families specifically addressing academic under-achievement, limited cultural experiences , and low attendance rates. 21st Century programming focuses on increasing academic performance by providing academic enrichment through small classes and recreational experiences. We enhance cultural experiences through our drama program, art instruction including pottery, crafts, and painting, and field trips.
Our goal is to serve the whole family by encouraging families to participate in their child's learning and offer parent events throughout the school year through cultural and educational events. We also help parents and students with study-skills, time management, cooking classes, and through enrichment opportunities by partnering with community leaders and businesses in field trips and on-site educational opportunities. The Walton county community is a vital part or our program and is integrated throughout our daily activities and events.
Free bus transportation is offered to all participants in the program.
