Welcome to
Walton County School District
Prekindergarten Site
(Curriculum:
HighScope)

Our prekindergarten program is dependent upon funding received from Bright from the Start.  We currently have two prekindergarten classes in each of our nine elementary schools.  Each class seats twenty-two students.  Registration for the new upcoming school year is usually held in February.  We use a "lottery" style drawing system to fill the seats each year.  The remaining children are drawn in the same way and placed on a waiting list.  You may e-mail questions and/or concerns to the following:

Nicole Becker - nbecker@walton.k12.ga.us
Ph: 770.266.4482

You may also go to www.decal.ga.gov for more information on Bright from the Start, their programs, and other resources.
