Communities in Schools

Communities In Schools works to surround MAHS students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. At MAHS, CIS focuses on improving student and school success by providing needed support and services to students. Our goal is to improve academic achievement, job and post-secondary school readiness and graduation rates.

Communities In Schools partners with the 21st Century Community Learning Center to provide enrichment experiences for MAHS students through the after school program. Students receive a snack, attend tutoring, mentoring and participate in enrichment clubs and activities.
