My journey started when I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Education in the area of health and physical education. While teaching physical education, I had many students come to me and confide their problems and turn to me for advice. These students inspired me the go back to school to obtain my counseling degree. I attended the University of West Alabama and graduated with my Masters in School Counseling in 2007. Since graduation I have served as a counselor in Walton County. I love my job and feel blessed to be able to serve the students and families of LES.
