FFA

What is FFA?
FFA is a student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership.

Who can Join?
Any student who is enrolled in agricultural education is eligible for membership. You DO NOT have to wait until you have agriculture to join FFA. As long as you are in the agriculture class for one quarter, you are eligible to join FFA.

What We Do
The Carver Middle FFA Chapter participates in a variety of activities that covers Growing Leaders, Building Communities, and Strengthening Agriculture.

Members have the opportunity to attend monthly meetings; area, state, and national conferences; and Summer Leadership Camp. Members can also compete in career development events (CDE’s) that include Horse Judging, Forestry, Livestock Judging, Lawnmower Operations, and more!

Career & Leadership Development Events (CDE/LDE)
CDEs & LDEs help students develop the abilities to think critically, communicate clearly and perform effectively in a competitive job market.

Carver Middle FFA members have the opportunity to participate in CDEs & LDEs ranging from floral design to dairy cattle evaluation. Some events allow students to compete as individuals, while others allow them to compete in teams.
